The long awaited day is finally here--the kids are officially back in school. The first day of school is always a big deal, but it was an even bigger deal for us because most of the other kids in the neighborhood have been back in school for over a week! I guess that is just what happens when you go to a school with a different schedule. Anyway, Tehani was so excited she woke up at 4am and had a hard time getting back to sleep. I'm just glad I was able to get some photos before either of them got food (or toothpaste) on their clothes.In checking with them after school, they both said that school was good. Other than falling asleep in science class (Tehani said it was because she got up so early) they had fun. There are a few new kids at the school this year and both Kobe and Tehani said they each made a new friend (great, more play dates.)
Now if I can just figure up how we are going to get the kids to and from school each day (If anyone knows where I can get one of those teleporters like the use on Star Trek, let me know :)

So fun to catch up with your family! You have such beautiful kids! Our kids don't start until next Tuesday- yikes! And I love the short shorts! Tehani looks just like you! Syd can still wear size 6 shorts, and at the age of 12, it's beginning to push the limits. Have fun this fall!
