While most of the civilized world spent their day off from work sleeping in, Simone and I trekked up to Salt Lake for the Deseret News 5K race. When I saw that Ronald himself was the MC/mascot for the race, I just knew I had to get a pic for my scrapbook (because nothing says "health" and "fitness" like Mr. Mickey D himself :)I mean, who knew that Ronald McDonald was a runner?
The good news: He did not beat us in the race.
The bad news: I guess there wasn't really any bad news--other than the fact that I was tired the rest of the day (Which is pretty lame since a 5K is only 3 miles)
